Wayne Siggard graduated in Comparative Literature, Italian, French, and German, and finished up at UCLA School of Law. He engaged in his true passion of designing and building private estates after a stint in law and investment banking. After designing and building his own estate and holding weddings there for family and friends he was besieged with requests from guests who attended those weddings to hold other weddings there and continued to do so until zoning and HOA changes forced a cessation of wedding activity.
Old World Influences
Having lived in Italy, Switzerland, and China, Siggard has led tours for family and friends for many years where his cohorts stayed in hotels that were converted palaces, villas, and castles. He has taken numerous trips to Europe to study architecture and gardens for “business purposes”, a description much disputed by his wife. When not designing, building, or travelling, he delves into his 3,000-volume library on architecture and gardens.
